ABOUT THE SOUTHERN CRUISERS...

We are a big Family. We hail from all around Montgomery County, Texas: New Waverly to Spring, Magnolia to Kingwood. What we have in common is that We LOVE TO RIDE!

The Conroe Chapter was started by Howard "SpEd" Camardelle and "El Sid" Findley in 1999, and has grown from a handful of members to over 200 members! We Love to ride and share good times together.  We have one "official" chapter ride and one Dinner meeting each month. Every weekend someone is riding somewhere, we have had great success using our Delphi on-line forum for posting information about the club's activities. In addition, we take several long rides each year, and attend several area rallies.  We are all about friends and family. Our members are every day folks like you and me, and our members ride all makes and models of bikes.  We simply enjoy riding amongst friends and everyone is welcome to join.

The Southern Cruisers Riding Club is a free, voluntary club. Membership in the SCRC is open to anyone with an interest in group riding regardless of race, creed or sex and all applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Operators of motorcycles must have a valid Motorcycle endorsement on their license. Members must be either a Rider or Passenger on a street legal Motorcycle. Spouses, if they ride with their husband or wife as a passenger are eligible to join with the same Membership Status as the motorcycle operator. Non-riders will only be allowed Membership under special circumstances to be determined by the Chapter First Officer and any of the National Officers. The Southern Cruisers is an open club but retains the right to terminate the membership of any member that is found to be in violation of any part of this constitution or other club rules.*

From SCRC National:

The Southern Cruisers Riding Club is a No Dues, "Family Oriented Club" and does require some attendance to Meetings or Rides. However, lack of Communications and Participation in a 90 day period may lead to revocation of Membership at the discretion of the Chapter First Officer. The Southern Cruisers is not an Internet Club for Motorcycle enthusiasts.*

The Southern Cruisers Riding Club is an international riding club with chapters throughout the US and abroad so, if you love riding, and if you are interested in making friends and being a part of a huge family, then consider joining the Southern Cruisers Riding Club.

All we will ever ask of you is a love of motorcycles and the willingness to abide by a few
simple rules. All of our rules are designed to keep our activities safe and within the law. For the most part all we ask is that you ride safe, don't give the club a bad name and that you support your club and chapter.
